METAL SERVICES
Metal Services Materials Testing Srl was established in Gorizia in 1989 as the evolution of a freelance activity and with the specific aim of responding, with the skills and timing imposed by the industrial reality, to the materials testing needs of the regional production fabric.
The strong dedication and the strict principle of reinvesting all the financial income generated by the business in the company have not only made it possible to structure the skills and equipment necessary to meet customers’ needs, but also to provide them with extensive expertise in the selection and fine-tuning of technological processes, consultancy and R&D activities, expertise in the process of continuous improvement, research and selection of suppliers in the international arena, and technical-legal consultancy.
The company is currently a major player on the regional scene in laboratory testing of metallic and non-metallic materials: chemical analysis, mechanical testing, corrosion, metallography, welding, simulated heat treatment and consulting on mandatory regulations applicable to the sector, and training on relevant business areas.
The company is recognised by the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, pursuant to Regional Law 47/1978 Chapter VII, as a highly competent and professionally qualified structure for applied research in the ‘metallurgy, corrosion resistance and environmental simulation sector’.
Metal Services Srl serves all the major industrial groups in the regional mechanical engineering industry and neighbouring areas, collaborating with testing activities in the realisation of the major metal carpentry works carried out worldwide by them.
Over the years, the company has gradually developed: in 1997, it moved to its current premises in Ronchi dei Legionari (GO), which was further extended during 2017 with the acquisition of an additional industrial facility, bringing the available surface area to the current 3,500 m2.
