Since the spring of 2009, in addition to the Italian site in Ronchi dei Legionari, METAL SERVICES – MATERIALS TESTING SRL has set up and directly manages a service company (www.metalservices.cn) in the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, People’s Republic of China, (about 60 km from Shanghai).

The initiative stems from the experience gained by Mr Querin, starting in 2003, in the construction of production facilities in that country, their management and the consequent supply chain activities. The project target is the on-site support of international manufacturing companies operating in the area, their suppliers, and those who purchase demanding products in China that require quality control and production process inspection activities.

The company is therefore active in the following areas:

• – Materials Testing Laboratory for Metallic Materials
• – Organisational and technology consulting to international companies operating in China
• – Incoming inspection service for local supplies to the above companies
• – Scouting service for local products/suppliers on behalf of third parties
• – Expediting/quality control service for the above Products/Suppliers
• – Consultancy for relocation of industrial and commercial facilities in the Far East
